What published science reveals about our ingredients.
Three outcomes from published clinical trials on an active ingredient in every stick. Tap any red badge to explore the research.
250%1
Larger total PYY response
PYY is a gut hormone that signals fullness. With a meal, the prebiotic fiber raised the total PYY response 250% over placebo.
18% lower2
Post-meal glucose spike
Stirred into black coffee, the fiber lowered the rise in blood sugar after a meal by 18%.
2hrs1
Longer before hunger returned
Taken with a meal, the fiber pushed back the return of hunger by 1.5-2 hours compared with placebo.
About the dose. The trials tested 10 g of the fiber ingredient. The label counts dietary fiber, 9 g per stick. These are results for the ingredient, not a trial of Arewell itself.
The Satiety Matrix.
Three studied ingredients, working four ways, inside one stick of Classic Roast.
Lasting Fullness3
Sustained stomach fullness.
Forms a gentle matrix in the stomach to slow digestion and prolong satiety.
CCK Activator4
Natural appetite reduction.
Triggers CCK hormone release to send immediate fullness signals directly to the brain.
GLP-1 Catalyst1
Raises your own GLP-1, naturally.
Nourishes gut microbes to naturally elevate ongoing GLP-1 and PYY production.
Synergy Engine5
Combined hunger suppression.
Harmonizes distinct fullness pathways into a single, amplified satiety response.

Your body already knows when it's had enough.
After you eat, your gut releases hormones like GLP-1 and PYY that tell your brain you're satisfied. Arewell is formulated with clinically-studied ingredients that work with those signals,* inside the coffee you'd be drinking anyway.
Ingestion
One stick carries the fiber at the dose the studies used, plus the rest of the Satiety Matrix, in the coffee you already drink.
Hormonal trigger
The prebiotic fiber prompts the natural release of GLP-1 and PYY, two fullness hormones.1 A standardized potato extract prompts CCK, another hormone that tells your brain you're full.4
Sustained fullness
Alginate is studied for slowing digestion,3 and hunger stayed away longer after the meal.*1

Gut microbiome health
An excellent source of prebiotic fiber per serving, for daily gut health.*

Questions, answered plainly.
Something else? Email hello@arewell.co and a person will answer.
What is GLP-1?
GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) is a hormone your gut releases after you eat. It signals fullness to your brain and slows how quickly your stomach empties. PYY and CCK are two more of these fullness signals.
In a published trial, the prebiotic fiber in Arewell raised both GLP-1 and PYY after a meal.1
Is this a GLP-1 medication?
No. Arewell is a dietary supplement in coffee form. It contains no drugs and doesn't replace any treatment your doctor prescribes.
Why do the studies say 10 g when the box says 9 g?
The studies measured the fiber ingredient by weight: 10 g of it. The label counts dietary fiber, and each stick lists 9 g. The figures on this page describe the ingredient at the dose the studies tested.
Does it have caffeine?
Yes. Arewell is a caffeinated coffee with a rich, full-bodied Classic Roast profile. The exact amount is printed on the label.
Can I return it?
Unopened boxes can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Email hello@arewell.co for a return authorization (RMA) first. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
Opened products can't be refunded, for sanitary reasons. If the taste isn't for you, contact us within 14 days of delivery for a one-time exchange or store credit for one box. Damaged or incorrect orders reported within 7 days, with a photo, are replaced or refunded in full.
